A serene and lovely garden, which today receives Behshahr municipality, is the renowned King Garden (Bagh-e Shah) of Ashraf-ol-belad during Safavie period. Behshahr municipality is among the big and pleasant garden with plenty of flowers and the old building stream and it surrounds by the garden and abundance of trees with a special architecture. The stream in the middle of the garden beautifully exhibits multiple waterfalls in the form of stairs at the hillside. The main building dates back to Shah Abbas period that was constructed at 1020 lunar year and then gradually demolished and at the begging of Pahlavi period another building was constructed like the main one, which was well known as Forum and is located at the center of the garden that has a length three times its width. The front side of the construction is very open and walls which have several windows block the backside and the other two sides. At the time being, it is used as Town Park . It is free to visit and there is no need to any license.
